SCG Positive Pay Utility

Overview

This utility produces the ASCII files banks require to implement their Positive Pay program of check verification. It is a standard CMS.Net report that finds all recently printed checks, exports an electronic file to the bank and prints a summary. Checks that have been exported are tagged as such so the next run will skip them. However, each run is considered a session and prior sessions can be rerun by entering the session number.

Eligible Items

Any unreconciled check or void is part of the output set; bank code is a front-end filter. Further filtering by account or any other data field are available via GRS.

Customization

Each bank has slightly different file layout requirements for the ASCII export file. These bank-specific adjustments are part of the included installation fee.
